Livn the Dream tee, back print, oversized black

Livn the Dream

phrase

The standard answer to how's work. Means the opposite of what it says, every single time.

Heard in the wild"Six a.m. start, pouring rain. Livn the dream."

She's Cooked tee, back print, oversized black

She's Cooked

phrase

Beyond saving. Applies equally to a gearbox, a deadline, and the bloke who tried to fix either.

Heard in the wild"Left the ute lights on since Thursday. She's cooked."

Flat Out Mate tee, back print, oversized black

Flat Out Mate

phrase

Working at absolute capacity. Short for flat out like a lizard drinking, which nobody has ever had time to finish saying.

How the pre-order works

Nobody wants a shed full of shirts in the wrong sizes. This way the run gets made to fit what people actually asked for.

  1. Reserve a size

Pick your shirts and leave your name and email. No card, no payment, no account.

  2. Pre-orders close

Thursday 12 November. That's when we count up what's been reserved and in which sizes.

  3. We hit 50, we print

If the run gets up, you get an email with a payment link. $44 a shirt, GST included, postage on us over $120.

  4. Or we don't

If we fall short we'll email and tell you straight. You've paid nothing, so there's nothing to refund.

The shirt

Every shirt in the range is the same one. Mark on the chest, phrase across the back. You're picking the words, not the cut.

260gsm cotton, cut oversized and boxy with a dropped shoulder. Ribbed collar taped shoulder to shoulder, so the neck still holds its shape after a summer of it.

At 260 it hangs instead of clinging, and it survives a wash without going see-through. Prints are water-based ink that sits in the fabric rather than on top of it, so it moves with the shirt instead of cracking off it.

Cut true to size but roomy. If you want it bigger than we already made it, size up.

Measured flat in centimetres. Allow 1–3cm either way, they're measured by hand.

The phrases we actually say kept turning up on shirts made for tourists, printed badly, by people who've never said them. So I started printing them properly.

Four so far. One more every month.
